WOMEN'S BASKETBALL BESTS LIU POST IN 2012-13 FINALE, 64-57 March 2, 2013 ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - Trailing 45-38 with seven-plus minutes remaining in regulation, the Molloy College women's basketball team posted a 22-8 run in a five-minute stretch to propel itself to a seven-point lead. The Lions didn't look back from there, as they edged East Coast Conference foe LIU Post, 64-57, in their 2012-13 season finale Saturday at Quealy Gymnasium in Rockville Centre, N.Y. BIG SECOND HALF LIFTS BRIDGEPORT OVER WOMEN'S BASKETBALL, 65-54 February 27, 2013 BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Down 44-42 with less than 13 minutes to go in regulation, University of Bridgeport outscored the Molloy College women's basketball team by a 23-10 count to close out the game, lifting the Purple Knights to a 65-54 win against the Lions in East Coast Conference action Wednesday at Harvey Hubbell Gymnasium in Bridgeport, Conn.
