About the Lions:
  • Molloy holds a 12-7 overall record and 5-1 in East Coast Conference play.
  • The Lions went 1-2 last week, defeating St. Thomas Aquinas, 3-1, Wednesday, October 15 before falling to Adelphi, 3-2, Thursday, October 16 and Mercy, 3-0, Saturday, October 18.
  • Against the Spartans, junior Erin Stanley paced the Lions with 10 kills and a career-high six blocks, senior Teresa Moulder followed with nine kills and tied a career-high five blocks, and graduate student Julia Zalta collected a double-double on 17 assists and 17 digs.
Queens:
  • The Knights hold a 8-13 overall alongside a 1-5 ECC record.
  • Queens went 1-1 last week, falling to Mercy, 3-0, Wednesday, October 15 before topping St. Thomas Aquinas, 3-2, Sunday, October 19.
  • To this point, Kylynn White tops the squad with 226 kills, Jayna Marie Lorenzo has dished out 319 assists and Maya Angelova tops the squad with 82 blocks including 21 solo.
  • The two programs will meet for the second time this season after getting together in Rockville Centre on October 1 where the Lions triumphed, 3-0.
  • Molloy is 29-35 all-time against Queens.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions enter the week winners of six of their last seven, holding a 8-2-3 overall record and 3-0-2 in East Coast Conference play.
  • Molloy went 1-0 last week, defeating Daemen, 2-1, Saturday, October 18.
  • Against the Wildcats, sophomore Sarah Cavallo picked up her second goal of the campaign and graduate student Emma Beattie tallied her fourth goal of the season that stood as the game-winner. 
Queens:
  • The Knights hoist a 2-6-5 overall record and are 1-2-2 in ECC play.
  • Bridgeport went 0-0-2 last week, drawing against Assumption, 1-1, Tuesday, October 14 and Staten Island, 0-0, Saturday, October 18.
  • Mia Goicochea tops the team with five points on the back of two goals and one assist while Adrianna Melgar leads the squad with two assists. In goal, Samantha Hines-Hirsch has collected 46 saves in 13 games.
  • The two squads played in last season's regular season finale with the Lions picking up a 1-0 victory in Flushing.
  • Molloy is 15-9-2 all-time against Queens. 
D'Youville:
  • The Saints come into the week 2-8-2 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
  • D'Youville went 0-2 last week, falling to Goldey-Beacom, 2-0, Wednesday, October 15 and St. Thomas Aquinas, 2-1, Saturday, October 18.
  • Manta Socada leads all scorers with five points on the back of two goals and one assist while totaling a 75 percent shots on goal percentage.
  • The Lions took down the Saints, 3-0, last season October 12, 2024.
  • Molloy is 4-0 all-time against D'Youville.

About the Lions:
  • Molloy holds a 1-4 record.
  • The Lions fell to Caldwell, 40-7, last week Friday, October 17.
  • Against the Griffins, junior Paulie Drummond V tossed a touchdown pass while totaling 90 yards through the air and senior Peter von Schoenermarck tallied 121 yards on six catches and one touchdown.
Navy:
  • The Midshipmen enter the week 4-0 on the campaign.
  • Navy went 1-0 last week, taking down Chestnut Hill, 28-17, Saturday, October 17.
  • Luke O'Connell quarterbacks the offense with 448 yards and six touchdown passes while completing 55 percent of his passes. On the ground, Hunter Gennicks has scored seven times while totaling 678 yards and Jake Berger leads with 193 yards receiving while Grant Sterchi has brought in three touchdown receptions.
  • The two programs met last season in Molloy's inaugural year, with the Lions falling, 34-0, October 25, 2024.

About Molloy:
  • The Lions come into the week 2-5-5 overall and 1-1-3 in league play.
  • Molloy went 1-1 last week, slipping to Southern Connecticut State, 2-1, Tuesday, October 14 before topping Daemen, 3-0, Saturday, October 18.
  • Graduate student Danu Kinsella Bishop had himself a career week accounting for all four of Molloy's goals in two contests. The Dublin, Ireland netted a hat trick in the Lions victory over Daemen and ended the week with five shots on goal on seven shots. 
Queens:
  • The Knights come into the week 10-2-2 overall and 5-0-1 against ECC competition.
  • Queens went 1-1 last week, falling to Adelphi, 1-0, Wednesday, October 15 before coming from behind to defeat Staten Island, 2-1, Saturday, October 18.
  • The squad holds a pair of athletes with over 20 points: Bradyn Brown (23, 10 goals and three assists) and Miguel Soto Gonzalez (22, five goals and 12 assists).
  • The two squads met twice last season in the regular season and most recently in the ECC semifinal. In the semifinal the Lions came away with a 3-1 victory over the Knights to advance to the ECC final.
  • Molloy is 7-11-1 all-time against Queens.
D'Youville:
  • The Saints enter the week 3-7-2 overall and 1-3-1 against ECC competition.
  • D'Youville went 0-2 last week, falling to Gannon, 3-2, Wednesday, October 15 and St. Thomas Aquinas, 7-0, Saturday, October 18.
  • With 10 points on five goals Dylan Danch paces the offense alongside 13 shots on goal.
  • The two programs met last season on two occasions. In its most recent matchup, the Lions picked up a 2-0 in the ECC first round November 7, 2024.
  • Molloy is 4-0-1 all-time against D'Youville.

Regarding the Lions:
  • Molloy maintains a 1-11 overall record and are 0-8 in Northeast-10 play.
  • The Lions went 0-2 last week, falling to Southern New Hampshire, 4-0, Tuesday, October 14 and Saint Michael's, 2-1, Saturday, October 18 in a shootout.
  • In the contest against Pace, sophomore Kayla Balsamo saved a career-high 29 shots also tying a program record.
  • Against the Purple Knights, freshman Katie Ogurick set new program records tallying 14 shots and 12 shots on goal and sophomore Samantha Naples netted her second goal of the campaign. 
Southern Connecticut:
  • The Owls are 7-7 overall and 4-4 in NE10 play.
  • Southern Connecticut went 1-1 last week, topping Mercy, 1-0, Tuesday, October 14 before falling to Saint Anselm, 3-0, Saturday, October 18.
  • Taylor Leckey tops the squad with 26 points on the back of 10 goals and six assists.
  • In last season's matchup, the Lions slipped, 1-0, in New Haven October 1, 2024
  • Molloy is 2-7 all-time against Southern Connecticut.
Assumption:
  • The Greyhounds are 9-5 overall and 8-1 in NE10 play.
  • Assumption went 2-0 last week, topping Pace, 3-0, Tuesday, October 14 and Adelphi, 4-1, Saturday, October 18.
  • Elle Murray leads the squad with 10 goals and 24 points while Taylor Tory leads with seven assists.
  • In last season's matchup, the Lions slipped, 3-0, September 21, 2024.
  • Molloy is 0-6 all-time against Assumption.
Cross Country
Saturday, October 25 at East Coast Conference Championship – Kings Park, N.Y.
 
Introducing the Lions:
  • Molloy last competed at the Highlander Invitational Saturday, October 11. Both the men's and women's team saw top three performances. The women totaled 44 points to finish second place while the men's team earned 131 points to finish third.
  • Senior Kathleen Healy led the way for the Lions, running the 5k race in personal best  time of 18:33.7 for a fifth place finish. The Lions also saw a pair of top-10 finishes from sophomore Carli Sheiffele (18:42.9) and senior Marie Naudus (18:52.3), each setting a personal record.
  • On the men's side, freshman Anthony Baldasano ran an 8k time of 26:32.9, finishing in seventh. Senior James Nichol (27:45.0), sophomore Gabriel Adimoolah (32:28.3), and freshman Christopher Diaz (32:27.3) all ran personal bests.
