Savarino has held the position as Molloy Athletics' Broadcast Director since August 2015. A former intern of the Athletic Communications department, he Savarino is responsible for the scheduling of the on-air talent for each of the Lions' home games while also building audio advertising spots played during each webcast.
A 2015 graduate of Hofstra University, Savarino teaches aspiring sportscasters as part of the Sports Journalism and Broadcast Institute for Teens offered by the university's Continuing Education department.
In addition to hearing him on Molloy's broadcasts, you can currently watch Savarino on News 12 Varisty, where he provides play-by-play for high school sports throughout the tri-state area.
His prior experiences include serving as a color analyst/reporter for the New York Islanders radio coverage while also broadcasting local college games at Hofstra, Adelphi, LIU Post, St. John's, and others.
A Long Island native, Savarino resides in East Meadow, N.Y.
